The concept of Horse Talk TV was created by horse trainer Katie Hickson.
Katie has over 18 years of experience in the horse industry as a professional horse trainer, and was the author of the first national Australian Horse Industry Directory in 1996 (A.E.I.S Directory).
She is passionate about horses, training and horse welfare and had the vision of bringing a horse show to free-to-air TV that would be entertaining, educational and offer the most up to date information on the industry.
Horse Talk TV is Australia’s FIRST show on free-to-air TV dedicated to horses. It is now an award winning series having taken out the prestigous 2010 Antena Award for "Outstanding Information& Lifestyle Show", proving the show has general audience appeal as well as being a favourite with horse lovers. Each episode is an entertaining mix of interviews, horse stories, product reviews, and info segments such as “Tip of the Week”. The TV show is supported by our interactive web site with 24/7 Web/TV, viewer competitions and a free members video page.
The hardworking team at Horse Talk TV are now underway filming the new Series Three. It will air nationally on Ch7's 4meTV & Foxtel's Auroa in 2012.
